VP, Operations Director (New York Based)
Position Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled VP, Operations Director to lead and
manage the operational execution of projects while ensuring seamless communication
between internal teams, clients, and other holding company agencies. The VP, Operations
Director will be responsible for overseeing development of the annual Scope of Work
process, managing quarterly business reviews (QBRs), ensuring client reporting
requirements are met, and keeping stakeholders aligned on project status and timelines.
This role also involves direct client interfacing and coordination with internal agency teams
as well sister companies within Interpublic.
Key Responsibilities:
• Client & Account Management: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients,
managing day-to-day communication and ensuring alignment with client
expectations. Lead annual scope and resource process, quarterly business reviews
(QBRs), IAT process, presenting project updates, metrics, and addressing any client
concerns. Build strong relationships with clients and ensure their needs are met
throughout the project lifecycle.
• Project & Timeline Management: Oversee the status of agency projects, tracking
progress against timelines and address any issues that could impact delivery.
Ensure all team members are aware of project milestones and deadlines.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Facilitate communication between internal
teams to ensure alignment with overall company and client objectives. Coordinate
with other holding company agencies to streamline project execution.
• Scope & Budget Management: Define, manage, and monitor project scopes to
ensure they align with client expectations and organizational capabilities.
• Operational Leadership: Implement and refine internal processes to improve team
workflows, ensuring efficient project management and smooth operations. Utilize
project management tools to enhance operational efficiency.
Qualifications:
• Proven experience in operations management, client interfacing, and account
management.
• Strong background in budget management, and resource allocation.
• Expertise in managing cross-functional teams and complex, multi-stakeholder
projects.
• Ability to lead and manage high-performing teams in a fast-paced, client-facing
environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a strong focus on client
relationships and team coordination.
Salary range for this position is $190-200K.
